Design Brief
The project was to design a decorative font from scratch, to the finished product of a workable OTF file through Glyphs app. Typeface would be showcased in a type specimen book.
Inspiration
Initial research started with analyzing two decorative typefaces that I aesthetically admired. First typeface was Jim Parkinson’s decorative typeface, Chuck,also BD Eddington 850 and BD Nippori 2005 by design agency Büro Destruct.

Initial sketches
I started sketching letters "v", "u" and "o". I made my way to numbers and glyphs after sketching out several variations.
