Samantha Brown "World Traveler" opening sequence
In Fall 2019, I was tasked to create an opening sequence for the now defunct show, Samantha Brown "World Traveler". I wanted to give it a fun and light feel. Using open source illustrations, I modified them and added vibrant colors in Adobe Illustrator. Carefully editing audio of Madonna's, "Ray of Light" I was able to sync and animate the still illustrations in Adobe After Effects. Press play and enjoy or maybe dance.
Boys Noize - "Overthrow" music video
For Fall (2019) semester I conceptualized a music video using a typeface I had designed in Adobe Illustrator and open sourced photography. I took inspiration from an imagined dystopian society and Boys Noize's song "Overthrow". Using 3D effects in After Effects I animated my typeface and greyscale images in many orientations. Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival 2020 commercial
I produced a 30 second commercial for Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival 2020 in my motion graphics 1 course. I used a combination of photography and my own vector graphics I created in Adobe Illustrator. My main goal was to make this a rambunctious but yet captivating commercial. I key framed fast animations for the flying red star to guide the viewer to important call to action.
